Oh my God today was a terrible day because the rain and winds were very strong it cause many damages, no lights ,and stress down , so today I preferred to stay in at home chilling taking care of my little cousin, but the only problem that occurred was that we ran out of electric light as 3 hours I was so scared, because we didn't have any supply in our house, and nobody else was in the house. So we had to wait for a long time for it, sitting in the same place. Our flashlights was my cellphone but that was not enough for 3 hours. It was my first time in this country to be without lights, but in my country its happen very frequently.

On Friday was one day of nervous in my life I had my presentation in class oh my God I forgot almost all the information lol. I could not to remember the things that I read about the person that I choose, but the point is to do more practice ,and try to leave behind my nervous, also I need to make more conversation because I have problem to speak to pronounce some words. I think that every person feel some butterfly in the stomach when they are in a presentation in front of many people. So this is normal in every person.lolz

On saturday I was chilling in my crib with my family and my boyfriend, but at night we went to dinner with some friends. We went to Chili's Restaurant I had never visited this restaurant but it was so good, the food its really good, because it has different flavor. The only thing that I didn't like was the time we had to wait for a long time since we got to the restaurant oh my god , so we ordered the food then we had to wait like 30 mins more.



Today Sunday wasn't good because I worked all day from 9:00 am to 8:00 I'm really tired I need to have a rest because tomorrow I have to go to school and I need to be good in class.

Yesterday was a terrible day for me in my job because I saw one person who did not want to see never in my life the person is a man who tried to hurt me about 3 months ago the guy is a thief who came to my job on December of last year to steal money in the office where I work unfortunately I had to give all the money because he threatened to kill me. I was very nervous and did not know what to do in this situation because I was alone no one is there. unfortunately yesterday he went to buy the calling card but I recognized and immediately I called the police but the police came late and the man was gone, so today we show the video to the detective and they are searching for the stupid man. It is a long story that I can't explain, but if you want you can ask me I can give you more details.

Today I'm remembering my days of February in Dominican Republic because this month is very important there because we celebrate Dominican Independence's Day and the most colorful carnival in the world, we celebrate it each weekend of February with parades, events and competitions. Many people wear different kind of costumes and masks. They enjoy it walking in the street and showing their costumes. It is an event in which the whole family can participate from very young children to young adults and older adults, everyone participates in their own way in this spontaneous bacchanalia of song and dance that awakens the feeling of being a Dominican with every passing weekend in February. If you want to be in the Dominican Republic during carnival, visiting the celebrations in Santiago and La Vega can be a great way to experience some Dominican culture and tradition and gives you the opportunity to personally see what works of art some of these masks are. I going to show you some kind of masks and costumes.

Thanks God this day is gone, because it was very stressed. I had to work 8 hours it was so hard to me. I'm very tired I want to go to sleep as soon is possible, but I need to do my homework and write my blog before that. So I hope that tomorrow will be a better day, although there are many people speculating that tomorrow its going to rain too much, but I don't like the rain when I have to go out because is very complicated for me to wait for the bus for a long time and I hate that. I just like to stay at home when the weather is like this.

Yesterday was a really good day I worked in the morning so I had all the afternoon free to do whatever I wanted . I finished my work at 3:00 pm, I came to my house and anybody of my family was here, I decided to go to sleep since 4:30 pm until 8:30 so I didn't have sleep in the whole night. About 10:00 pm my friend called me if I wanted to going out with her and other friends, I said yes because I was boring in my house. We went to Rancho Jubilee in Queen( Discotec) it was my first time to visit this place, then I called my boyfriend to come to the party and he obviously came. I enjoyed it a lot because we dance all kind of music especially Dominican music and also I was teaching my friend to dance Bachata because she is from El Salvador, but she didn't know how to dance it.
Today I was off from my work and I just went to the Church and came back to stay at home because its really cold outside, and I don't wanted to go to any place because tomorrow I will go back to school finally and I have to awake early, so for that I prefered to stay in my crib relaxed.

I don't have too much thing to say but this week has been well because I didn't go to school.
I have taken this week sleeping and working, that's all the thing that I do during the week. At this moment I'm watching Premio lo Nuestro almost Spanish people know what it is, if you don't know it is a awards show honoring the best of Latin music . It is really exciting to see your favorite actor or musician getting a honor.

Wow! this weekend was very especial for me because I stayed with my boyfriend all day in valentine's day we went to a restaurant Saturday night and after that we went to dance. We enjoyed a lot it was an unforgettable moment.I mean for me valentine's day was on Saturday because I celebrated it this day, on Sunday I had to work all day this was very boring to stay there, but in this country is very different,here we have to work hard always :-)

Today is nice day because it’s snowing outside, I love to see the snow by the window, but I don’t like to go out when its snow because is very danger and cold. I didn’t stay at home all day because unfortunately I had to go to work, but nobody coming to store then my boss decided to close I was so exciting because I don’t wanted to stay over there all day, so I got home to early today. I came to sleep and to read a book, so I hope tomorrow go to college because today it wasn't possible for the snow.

Hello Everyone!

Sunday for me is a little boring because I have to work almost all day and is a little difficult to awake early on Sunday when last night I went to my bed at 1:30 am, and sleep is one of the things that I love.

Yesterday my boyfriend was here he came from the city to visit me we stay at home for a short time then, we went to the mall to walk because we were so boring in my house. Unfortunately I spent all the money that I earn during the week shopping hahahaha when I got home and I check my wallet it was empty and I said Oh my God! I just went to mall to walk where is my money that was so funny, so this week I need to work hard to make money for the next pay of the college. lol

Well, today was a terrible day for me because I don't really feel good since Wednesday I have headache and flu, I didn't feel good in the class today I went because is necessary to go and I don't like to miss in the class, but I had to go today.


In other hand let me use the phrase that my teacher teach me (TGIF) "thanks God Is Friday" and agree with her. I love this day of the week because the weekend its coming and I can to be relax at home, also I don't have to work on Saturday this is a good day off.

I am really excited because last night I went to Aventura's concert at the Madison Esquare Garden with my aunt and cousins .They are Dominicans boys they sing "BACHATA" one of the our traditional music. It was very interesting because they did a lot of fun things . They are my favorite group singer . I love all their songs.Also I could see Anthony Romeo Santos the main singer of the group .He is very handsome and sexy. They invited one of the famous artist Akon. I will never forget about the night .

Well, yesterday (Saturday) was a great day because I went to my cousin’s house she was celebrated her birthday and we made a big party over there many people came to her house. She was so excited because they came to celebrate with her and almost of them brought gifts to her. We passed an enjoyable time, dancing, eating and having fun; also my uncles were playing and singing Dominican music called (perico ripiao) I know that maybe never in your life you heard this music but its really funny. I was so happy also because my boyfriend came from the city to share with me and my family.

Hello people I don’t really have many things to say because I don’t do a lot of thing on the weekday. I just go to school and work, about the school I can say that the class is very interesting and important to me because everyday I learn something new at least 2 or 3 word and that is very important. About the work I can say that it is very boring sometimes especially at night because the people don’t like to go outside when its cold that’s what I think, but I afraid to be there alone because is very danger, but I have to stay there anyways because I need to make money to pay the college next month. That’s all that I have to say now later I can write more things.

I’m very excited because in this semester I am sharing with new people. I am so happy for that because it is one of the things that I love to make friends and to learn new things from them, many of them are very shy, and they don’t like to talk too much, but I understand because is their first time in the program and they don't know anybody.
